These terms govern your use of QOSMO, operated by DAVILEX SOFT S.R.L., a company registered in Romania ("we", "us").

By creating an account or using QOSMO you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What QOSMO is — and what it is not

QOSMO is a self-help tool for people who want to reduce or stop pornography use. It provides streak tracking, educational lessons, meditations, journalling, content blocking and a peer community.

QOSMO is not medical treatment. It is not therapy, not a substitute for professional care, and we are not medical or mental health professionals. Nothing in the app is a diagnosis or clinical advice.

If you are struggling with compulsive behaviour, depression, anxiety or thoughts of harming yourself, please speak to a doctor or qualified professional. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use QOSMO, and the app is rated 17+ on the App Store. By using it you confirm you meet the age requirement and can enter into a binding agreement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the security of the account you sign in with — whether Apple, Google or email — and for activity that happens under it.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your recovery data and cannot be undone.

4. Subscriptions

4.1 What is included

QOSMO requires an active subscription. Plans are offered monthly and yearly, with prices shown in your local currency before you buy.

4.2 Free trial

New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. The trial converts automatically to a paid subscription when it ends, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before. One trial is available per Apple Account.

4.3 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the current period ending. You can cancel any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.

4.4 Payment and refunds

Payment is taken by Apple, not by us. We never see your card details.

Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms. We cannot issue them directly. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

4.5 Price changes

We may change prices. You will be notified in advance and, where required, asked to consent before a changed price applies to you.

5. The community

QOSMO includes a community where users post and comment. When posting you agree not to publish:

Be aware that community posts are visible to all signed-in users. You post under a handle we generate for you rather than your real name, but that protects your identity only as far as what you write does — do not share anything you would not want another member to read.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We remove content that breaks these rules and ban the accounts responsible. You can report content and block users from within the app; reports are reviewed promptly and acted on.

If a post suggests someone is at risk of harming themselves, we may act on that information, including contacting emergency services where we believe there is a genuine risk to life.

6. Content blocking

QOSMO's content blocker uses Apple's Screen Time system to filter adult websites and block apps you select.

It is a support, not a guarantee. Filtering depends on Apple's classification, which is not perfect. Some content may not be blocked. The feature can be turned off at any time by you or anyone with access to your device passcode. Do not rely on it as your sole safeguard.

7. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app; attempt to access other users' data; use the service unlawfully; or interfere with its operation or security.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its lessons, meditations, designs and code belong to us. You may use them personally within the app, but may not copy, redistribute or resell them.

Content you write — journal entries, posts, comments — remains yours. By posting in the community you grant us a licence to display it within QOSMO.

9. Disclaimers

QOSMO is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular outcome. Recovery depends on many factors beyond an app.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for content posted by other users, or for content the blocker fails to block.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights are unaffected.

11. Termination

You may stop using QOSMO and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, particularly the community rules. Where possible we will explain why.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law, and disputes fall to the courts of Romania. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence, and you retain any mandatory protections under your local law.
